I have been lucky enough to take on the family business...Pebbles and Chance.

I am the Pebbles part! From a very early age I have grown up surrounded by beautiful things….strands of gemstones strewn all over the table, treading on wax filings as my mother has always had her workspace in our communal living space and I have watched her making and creating basically all of my life. She would always encourage me to make a present out of the materials we had should we have a birthday to gift for instead of buying. Beading and making friendship bracelets was something I loved doing as a child.

The aha moment definitely happened when my mum and I did a big travel to India at the age of 18. There I had the chance to see my mother in her essence, selecting gemstones, delegating with providers, designing collections and finding precious vintage tribal pieces that she would later incorporate into necklaces and bracelets. I loved being surrounded by the beauty, culture and people of India. After that trip I started my university degree in Advertising and Communication and later specialised in digital marketing and always on the side helping my mum with creative projects. Although I’ve always had a love for communication, I began to feel an urge to work with my hands and be more creative, so I deep dived into the jewelry business, picked up beading again, began wax modelling, and have fallen in love with it all. Everything happened at the right time as my mum, Camilla, wanted to slowly retire and hand this over to have more time to indulge in new creative projects and travels.

Pebbles & Chance will continue to detach pieces of my mums work, however there will be lots of new exciting pieces coming up made by Camilla and myself.
