Keep your memories eternally.
Pico- is a tremendously small unit in metric system; -Worm is derived from the word 'bookworm'. The meaning behind PicoWorm is signifying somebody who loves to devote time in making something small – that person is me. Nestling in it are also the initials of my name, P.W.
Let me tell you a little story of mine:
I graduated with Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, struggled to secure a certificate for the profession. Okay, this might sound strange to you, but lastly, I decided to pursue what I had longed for years, to be a full-time miniature artist.
I'm a self-taught artist. I've never stopped loving nor given up on this spiritual art since I fell in love with it back in 2007. It was the day my sister brought me a dollhouse book from Taiwan, and I still remember how much I loved this book, putting it on my bedside table so I could read it repeatedly every day. This passion inspires and drives me throughout the years to make things that I see, eat, observe and remember.
I always believe miniature isn’t merely small, it also brings life to us. I pay close attention to realism and strive to evoke for you a sense of nostalgia through miniature art. Each piece of miniature is designed and hand-sculpted by me with so much effort and enthusiasm. I always love to try new things; try to explore and experiment every single thing by myself. So I use various kinds of materials like clay, wood, paper, etc.
There are many ways to help you keep something in mind, through a memo, a voice recorder, or a photo. But miniature is definitely the most special way for you to keep it real and commemorated.
