Dreams are what you make of them!
Amy and I met when we were 12 years old and have been friends ever since. Through the years of college, raising kids and building a family, we talked and dreamed about starting a small business to share our love of crafting with others, but they time never seemed right.
Our passion for crafting came from Amy’s mom. We grew up painting wood and ceramics, making beautiful dolls and homemade suckers. That led us to scrapbooking, quilting, crocheting and anything else we could find, but found our love in wood crafts.
Our kids are growing up and life has settled down, so now feels like the perfect time to live our dream.
Our business name came from Allison’s love of castles and all things royal, and an amazing trip Amy took to Europe where she toured many castles. Pineapple comes from an inside joke between Amy and her daughter as well as our love of the TV show Psych. Combining the two made for a personal touch, a representation of our passions, and a fun and catchy name.
