Polly Sonic

Just between you and me...

Polly Sonic is my nom de plume. I'm Linda S. Wingerter, a multi-disciplinary artist and graduate of Rhode Island School of Design. My paintings and objects are contemplations on the hand-made arts, nature, solitude, wonder, love, and longing. They are reminders of the evidence of the divine in our every day world.

I've been selling prints of my originals since 2003 when I started making laser copies by request at my local copy shop. Now I print giclees from my own wide-format Epson fine art printer which lets me closely monitor the colour and quality.

I paint and sculpt from an attic studio near the sea in New Haven, Connecticut, and sometimes from a pond-side cabin at a zen monastery in the remote woods of central New York.
