I was born and raised in Canada. I met the love of my life, married him in 2008 and moved to our home in AZ.
I am a stay at home mom of of two busy little girls.

I began designing my own hair accessories for myself to wear, and when friends and family began requesting them I decided to start an Etsy shop. From there it "blossomed' into bridal bouquets, boutonnieres and more.
I have had some of my bouquets professionally photographed and featured on blogs.

The process involves me selecting a color scheme, purchasing yards and yards of fabric, tulle, lace, coordinating feathers, ribbons and vintage jewelry. Inspiration comes from all over...blogs, pinterest, magazines, and everyday life.
I have worked with live flowers at a florist shop for 2 years and came to know design from that level as well, I try and watch for upcoming trends to incorporate in my work.
Each and every petal is hand cut, singed, then formed into individual blooms. I then group together a combination of colors, add in my fillers and embellish with rhinestones, vintage buttons and pearls. They are then attached to clips headbands or made into bouquets.
The process is usual helped along with a cup of coffee. My guilty pleasure is stopping by a local coffee drive thru for an iced latte (or hot on the cooler days) once my shopping is done. It helps get my creative juices flowing :)
