hello sweet friends!

my little shop has been through various shop names and has hosted a wide variety of my handmade items throughout the years, but it has finally found its home as a place where i can share my art with you. poppyquinn was born as part of my little family's dream to save our resources and buy a small homestead someday. we dream of walking out the back door into our organic garden filled with yummy veggies, herbs, and lovely flowers; breathing fresh air - unpolluted by traffic; and caring for our little flock of well-loved hens. i am inspired by flowers, sunny skies, and new life in the barn and this often shows in my pieces. i am self-taught and always learning.

about me // while my hubs was raised a Texas man, i grew up in a beach city in southern california. my husband and i are currently nesting in costa mesa, ca with our german shepherd pup, a spunky kitty, oodles of plant babies, and a balcony garden that brings the hummingbirds to our windows. random bits: i love making beautiful things. pretty journals and fresh flowers are my love languages. i love snail mail, new pen pals, and pretty letters. custom art pieces always end up being my favorites. i am blessed with a handy husband who can build or fix just about anything (lucky me!).
