I make minimalist jewelry that's meant to last a lifetime.

Native Memphian, Lauren Carlson began making jewelry in her apartment in 2014. This sparked the foundation of her business, Question the Answer, a one of a kind jewelry line seeking to make minimal pieces influenced by heirlooms, vanitas imagery & modern design.

In line with the rising trend of "slow fashion", Carlson's feminine- yet edgy pieces concentrate on quality & longevity. She seeks to underline the thoughtfulness of purchasing quality jewelry, and to highlight the destructiveness of mass production or "fast fashion".

Returns and exchanges
All gemstone pieces are EXCHANGE ONLY. Please contact me within 7 days of receiving the item and I will get back to you shortly on how to exchange the item. Because the items are made to order, please allow 10-15 business days for processing time after I receive the item you wish to exchange. I do my best to have all inventory on hand, but because of high material costs, I cannot always have every piece in stock. Only unworn & undamaged items are accepted. The purchaser is responsible for return shipping. The shop will not provide a refund for items that are lost or damaged on their way back.

All custom orders are made-to-order, so- unfortunately, I cannot accept any returns or exchanges.

I cannot reimburse you for items that have been lost or damaged during shipping. Please notify me immediately if this occurs.
Our shop accepts PayPal & most major credit cards. PayPal accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, & Discover.
Domestic orders are shipped using USPS Priority Mail.
International orders are shipped using USPS First Class Mail.

For a rush order or expedited shipping please contact the shop for cost information.

Once the item is shipped, the Question the Answer shop is not responsible for the item, nor is the shop owner, Lauren Carlson. All priority mail is insured for $50.00, if you are interested in adding additional shipping insurance, please contact the shop before purchasing so that I may create an invoice that includes the additional cost. This is highly recommended. Always make sure you are shipping to a secure address so that there are no problems with loss of theft.

All International customers, please purchase your piece at least 6 weeks prior to the date you would like it to arrive. Shipping can take 2 weeks-1 month after the piece is dropped off at the post office, so never wait until the last minute. All packages may be subject to customs and any duties and taxes will be the responsibility of the buyer and not the Question the Answer shop or owner.

Please allow 3 weeks for the production of your handmade piece. Because each piece is unique, there may be small differences between your product and the one photographed. I do my best to make each reproduction exact.

For retailers, the shop does offer wholesale on select items and we would love to work with you. Please email the shop for additional information.

The Question the Answer shop reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, at any point. In these cases, we will refund any and all payments that have been made.
