About

It Was Always Going To Be Yarn

I've been making things since forever. I learned to crochet when I was four and knit when I was five and I haven't stopped since. I muddled about for a long time until a dear friend told me that I should never follow my dream - dreams are fleeting, we have millions of dreams every year and they rarely come to anything. Rather, she said, I should follow my effort, my passion, that thing that I pour all of my free time into and am really good at and can do consistently day in and day out without getting burnt out and unhappy - and that thing, for me, is deliberately tangling yarn until it resembles an owl or a sock or whatever.

I have never been happier.

Returns and exchanges
I don't accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Once it's sold, it's sold. Some exceptions may apply. If an item arrives in an unacceptable condition, send it back to me and I will replace it.
Payment
I accept PayPal. If you need to pay by some other method, feel free to contact me to work something out. If you need something custom made, try to give me at least two weeks to make it; if you decide to cancel an order, try to do so a soon as possible. If I have already shipped it, you have already bought it. Nothing is shipped until I get confirmation of payment. I'm afraid I cannot at this time offer any sort of return policy; once you've bought it, you've bought it. This is especially true of patterns, since they are PDF files sent electronically; since they cannot be returned, they cannot under any circumstances be refunded.
Shipping
I do my best to get things to you in a reasonable amount of time; items ship out twice a week, usually on Wednesdays and Fridays. If you need your item faster than that, or have not gotten your item in a reasonable amount of time, please feel free to contact me.
Additional policies and FAQs
I am fully open to custom orders. If you want something particular, contact me.

Everything I make is crafted in a non-smoking, cat-friendly environment.
