Quilts & Quilted Art for the home or office

Announcement    I’ve heard it said that ART allows for communication beyond spoken or written words. I love that through my quilted creations I'm able to communicate directly with each of you!
Many of my quilt's designs are original to me. In some, I've started with traditional patterns and updated them with contemporary fabrics. Others begin with a published pattern, but adaptations, embellishments, and the unique fabric combinations with which these are assembled make even these one-of-a-kind unique works of quilted art.
Those who follow me know I’m a rather prolific quilt making fiber artist and I don’t limit myself to any one ‘style’. My pieces run the gamut from traditional to modern, functional to fashionable. Whether for a bed, lap, table, or wall, my quilts add accent to a home or office and are thoughtfully, skillfully created using only the highest quality materials to provide beauty, warmth, and comfort for the eye, heart, and soul.
These quilts come to you from my home studio in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia where I utilize a combination of machine and hand work in their creation. Depending on the size of the quilt and the difficulty of the techniques used, it can take me anywhere from 30 to well over 300 hours from start to finish. Each one is made with exacting attention to detail.
Large wall quilts come ready-to-hang with a sleeve sewn onto the upper backing of the quilt. Smaller quilts intended to be hung on a wall or door come ready-to-hang with a wooden rod for hanging.
From time to time, you will also find in my shop sets of blank note cards featuring a photo of my original quilts and digital patterns for my original designs.
Thank you for visiting my Etsy shop! I hope you will make it a 'Favorite' and return often to see new additions to my shop.

It’s true. I’m an artisan! Creative does not simply describe what I ‘make’, rather it is who I am and for well over 40 years I’ve been I've been using fabric to create unique, one-of-a-kind quilted works of art. Thank you for your support of my work!
