I work with old hardcover books no longer wanted by their owners, and otherwise destined for the landfill.
I use reclaimed paper materials and found objects to create unique pieces of visual art.
My work includes freehand paper cut designs,
recycled collage,
and whimsical altered books.

Uncommon art made from books and paper

I work in a number of media such as altered books, mixed media collage, paper cutting, and photography. I primarily use recycled materials and found objects to conceive my work, combining colour, texture and striking compositions to create art pieces that express my love of nature and imagination. My work is motivated by a desire to experiment with different techniques and materials, and to constantly push the boundaries of the work I create. My process in all media is through spontaneous exploration, with an emphasis on learning by doing, especially through iteration and experimentation.
