The Story Behind Raspberriez
Jaclyn started her online business in 2014 as a tribute to her grandmother. Inspired by her grandmother's love of gifting handmade baby shoes to all new mothers, Jaclyn was encouraged to continue the tradition by creating a new modern yet practical baby shoe for both mothers and babies. Raspberriez has developed a soft soled baby shoe, allowing babies to wiggle their little toes, that grows with them.
Today, she operates business as a mother-daughter team and works closely with her mother who was the one who taught her how to knit and crochet. As a team, they have sold their shoes across the globe and been able to reach hundreds of new mothers. They are constantly discussing new styles and following the latest trends.
Jaclyn is not your typical young twenty-two-year-old. She recently graduated with degrees in both chemistry and mathematics, meanwhile working on a startup business on the side. She was heavily involved in a research project to develop an on-site instrument to analyze explosives and has presented her work at conferences. Meanwhile, her friends referred to her as grandma due to her hobby of staying in on the weekends and photographing her newest baby shoe line.
Every pair of shoes are carefully handmade and of the highest quality. We hope you love our product as much as we do!
We make our baby shoes because my Nanny forgot how. Every pair is made in her memory and honor to all those we slowly lose to Alzheimer's.
