Welcome to reAwesome where you'll find a unique collection of vintage items that have been procured, salvaged, and collected with enthusiasm, excitement, and flat-out LOVE for all things with a past.
reAwesome has been lucky enough to not only sell to many wonderful customers throughout the world, but we have also sold vintage items that have been used and seen in many venues. These include film, television shows, and live performances such as Chinonye Chukwu’s film "Till," the Broadway revival of Doubt: A Parable, the "My Fair Lady" Broadway Tour, Jimmy Kimmel Live! (4/3/2022), Netflix's Northeast Ohio, AMC's Mad Men, Showtime's First Ladies, CBS' 2 Broke Girls and Hawaii Five-0, Food Network's Sweet Treats, Starz' Magic City, FX's Fargo, HBO's The Time Traveler's Wife, Hulu's Ms. America, and Amazon's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel to name a few. Our vintage items were also photographed and used in the September 2019 issue of Country Living Magazine. In addition, reAwesome has worked directly with many photographers to quickly provide props for their photography including shoots for companies such as Billabong, Land's End, and Quiksilver. reAwesome has been lucky enough to supply vintage items to publishing houses, playhouses, special event locations, staging companies, many playhouses throughout the globe, awesome prop masters for movies/TV/and theater, bar/restaurant/ and hotel staging persons, historic home renovators, interior designers, Broadway musicians, well-known celebrities, warehouse prop studios, museums, avid collectors, and the list goes on. reAwesome has also donated items to various organizations that supported our veterans, animal rescues in a couple of states, and a local city pet shelter here in Wichita, Kansas. We are honored that professionals in these various industries have trusted reAwesome for accurate, quick, and reliable service. It's an honor to not only provide a bit of the past to them, but to every single customer that has also entrusted us to bring a little of the past to them. What is vintage condition?
Our vintage goods range in age from 20 to 100+ years old. Due to this, all items are sold in "as is" vintage condition. You can most likely expect some level of wear and use from each item as they were previously owned, used, and loved. While we do put any specific imperfections of each item in the item's description, common "as is" vintage condition is defined as minor surface scratches, aging, wear, nicks, tiny chips, fading, minor finish loss, or light tarnish. We do make a note in the description for the imperfections we notice that fall outside of "vintage condition" and try to provide close-up photographs for any major defects that fall outside this definition.
When item(s) is shipped and which shipping should I select?
Your item(s) will be shipped within 1-2 business days (Monday thru Friday, excluding holidays) from Wichita, Kansas (67230). Shipping times depend on the shipping type selected when the payee checks out. For items that ship free in our shop, we will ship 1) USPS First Class for items under one (1) pound or 16 ounces. 2) Parcel Select Ground for anything over one (1) pound, or 3) Media Mail for books, papers, or any other media item.
The USPS has the following standard shipping times (domestic only):
USPS Priority Mail: 2-3 days
USPS First-Class Package Service: 2-5 days
USPS Parcel Select Ground: 2-9 days
USPS Media Mail: 2-8 days
If you need the item(s) quicker, please upgrade the shipping type when checking out In Etsy.
What if my item(s) is damaged during transit?
As of 1 December 2020: USPS has changed their policy for damaged items. While we do our best to secure/wrap all of our items, damage does occur. USPS requires all item(s) be taken to a local post office for inspection after we submit the claim. Sadly, we must ask our customers to take the packaging and item(s) to their local post office for inspection. Please take down the address and name of the person you speak with. It can take up to 60-days for the USPS to approve the claim. At that time we will provide a full refund to you.
Shipping insurance does NOT cover packages missing or stolen upon completed delivery. Once there is a final delivery scan, reAwesome is not responsible for items missing/stolen from the delivery location.
What are the return policies?
This is an in-depth question and we ask that you visit our "Returns and Exchange Details" section for our policy and a clear answer. Our official policy is that we do not accept returns so please always ask any questions you have prior to making a purchase and we will be happy to answer. While we value your satisfaction, shipping is very high and returns are typically only granted if the item is not as described in the description, photographs, and video (if applicable). If we allow a return for an item outside of that criteria, the buyer must pay return shipping.
Can I cancel my order?
Once an order has been placed, we can cancel the transaction if we have not yet purchased and/or printed a shipping label. We typically ship items fast so please be sure you truly want to purchase the item(s).
