Hola y gracias por tomarse el tiempo para visitar mi tienda. Mi nombre es Rebecca y he estado vendiendo grabados antiguos, cuadros y joyería vintage y otros artículos en línea durante más de 10 años.
Tengo una amplia y variada experiencia en joyería y es una de las pasiones de mi vida. Estudié joyería en el Instituto de Arte y Diseño de Kent y soy un platero calificado y hábil. Pasé 15 años de mi carrera perfeccionando estas habilidades y experiencia. Aunque he colgado mi soplete como una herramienta profesional, ¡todavía mantengo mi mano con algunas manualidades personales para familiares y amigos!
Fui dueño y administré una galería muy exitosa, Kettle of Fish, en el distrito Lanes de Norwich durante ocho años. Vendí mi trabajo y el de otros artesanos de toda la región. Debido a los cambios en la economía y la llegada de un gran centro comercial sin alma, tomé la decisión de cerrar la tienda y poner mi atención en línea.
Durante todo este tiempo siempre tuve interés por las antigüedades. Siempre he tenido un ojo único para las gangas y las cosas bellas y tomé la decisión de usar estas habilidades y experiencia como artesano para diversificarme en el mercado de antigüedades y vintage. Este ha sido un viaje increíblemente positivo y completamente agradable. Realmente me emociona encontrar una ganga, investigar su historia y encontrar un nuevo hogar para que sea amada y apreciada por toda una nueva generación.
Tengo una amplia experiencia en el comercio de antigüedades, habiendo trabajado como tasador y consultor para una casa de subastas local. También he comprado y vendido en muchas ferias de antigüedades, en particular en el Antique Market de Covent Garden en Londres.
A nivel personal, me encanta la joyería georgiana, la joyería abstracta/contemporánea y la cerámica de estudio. Disfruto mucho de la fotografía y me encanta pasar el tiempo deambulando por la hermosa campiña de Norfolk con mi cámara tomando fotografías extrañas y maravillosas.
En los últimos años me he interesado más en las obras de arte antiguas, comprando siempre que puedo, portafolios si otros artistas trabajan. Pasé mucho tiempo buscando artículos en casas de subastas locales. También me encanta dibujar y me he enseñado a mí mismo a hacer impresiones, incluido el grabado a punta seca y el collage. Siempre estoy buscando aprender nuevos procesos y me encantan los desafíos.

Hi and thanks for taking the time to visit my shop. My name is Rebecca and I have been selling antiques prints , pictures and vintage jewellery and other items online for over 10 years now.
I have a wide and varied background in jewellery and it is one of the passions in my life. I studied jewellery at the Kent Institute of Art and Design and am a qualified and skilled silversmith. I spent 15 years of my career honing these skills and expertise. Although I have hung up my blowtorch as a professional tool, I still keep my hand in with some personal crafting for family and friends!
I owned and managed a very successful gallery, Kettle of Fish, in the Lanes district of Norwich for eight years. I sold my own work and that of other crafts people from all over the region. Due to changes in the economy and the arrival of a large, soulless shopping centre I made the decision to close the shop and turn my attention online.
Throughout this time I always had an interest in antiques. I have always had a unique eye for a bargain and things of beauty and I made the decision to use these together my skills and experience as a craftsperson to branch out into the antique and vintage market. This has been an incredibly positive and thoroughly enjoyable journey. I genuinely get a thrill out of finding a bargain, researching its history and finding it a new home for it to be loved and cherished by a whole new generation.
I have wider experience in the antiques trade having worked as an appraiser and consultant for a local auction house. I have also bought and sold at many antiques fairs, in particular at Covent Garden’s Antique Market in London.
On a personal level I love Georgian jewellery, abstract/contemporary jewellery and studio pottery. I get great enjoyment out of photography and love spending time wandering around the beautiful Norfolk countryside with my camera taking weird and wonderful pictures.
Over recent years I have become more interested in vintage artwork, buying up whenever I can, portfolio if other artists work. I spent lots of time hunting for items in local auction houses. I also love to draw and have taught myself how to print make, including dry point etching and collagragh. I am always looking to learn new processes and love a challenge.
