Its amazing how quickly the world changes.....for over 20 years I have been in the window treatment and home decor business, usually having a physical shop that people could stop by and chat and get inspired for their next home project.
All that changed when a few years ago, when I decided to close my most recent shop. I continued to do work locally for decorators and clients, but something
was missing.....more conversation? meeting new people? learning something new?
My good friend, Jeanne, who sewed with me in my upstairs bonus room when we met in 2000, suggested I get with technology and get on-line. Start a blog, get an instagram account,
embrace technology! A marketing major herself, she was excited to learn about social media. 20 years ago, social media was non-existent, now it is indispensible.
So we took the plunge! We began with our blog(which we hope you will visit) and now we are opening on Etsy. Even though you can't walk into our shop, we can convo you over a cup of coffee.
