Care instructions

We recommend spot cleaning with a rag to preserve scent and allow to air dry. Do not machine wash or put in dryer, as this will damage your stuffed animal. Submerging your stuffed animal will remove the scent.

These are purchased secondhand and we do our best to hand sew and reinforce the seams. We recommend you be gentle with your purchase as these can be vulnerable to popping or loosening. If you come across this issue, contact me and I can either help you resolve it in person, or arrange a repair shipment.

All stuffed animals purchased may come with minor imperfections, missing embroidery, etc. This is normal - such is the life of a rescued plush! I will always try to include this information in the listing.

What materials do you use?

We use several different materials during the refurbishing process. We use fragrance free laundry detergent and fabric softener. For stain removal, we use OxiClean and carpet stain remover. We include Poly-Fil premium fiber filling and we will typically use either poly pellets, smooth stones, or tiny glass weighted beads for weighting. Scenting starts with unscented aroma beads and fragrance oil (We like P&J Trading). We make satchels with cotton fabric. Our scent sprays currently include fragrance oil, water, and isopropyl alcohol which we use to surface scent.
