5 out of 5 starsI love my Woolie! It arrived safe and sound after having to change the location it was shipping to. Ms. Schulman took the extra trouble to make sure my request was possible. Now I just have to keep it away from my 9 month grandson. It’s Grandma’s!

5 out of 5 starsI love my woolie so much! It is beautifully handmade, constructed with wool and leather of different kinds. The seams are neat and clean. There were many warm earthy colors to choose from, they all had their own personality. Barbara was so kind and patient with me. Very happy with my purchase. Looking at him brings me so much joy and comfort! I put knitting tools in the pocket as storage. So useful and it fits in perfectly with my home decor. I will definitely shop with this seller again. Thank you!

5 out of 5 starsI love the whole Woolies line. I have one for my son already so when a dear friend announced she was expecting, I jumped on one for a special gift for her little one to-be. It's clear that a lot of work goes into making these. They're beautiful, cuddly and perfectly unique.

Barbara
Owner, Creator, Designer
All four of my grandparents stitched garments for a living in the old country and brought their trades with them when they emigrated to NYC at the turn of the 20th century. My grandfather bought me my first sewing machine – one that I still use today - when I was 13. My father navigated the girders of some of New York’s most iconic buildings as an ironworker for more than 25 years. At home, he had a basement full of tools that he taught me how to use. My mother encouraged me by celebrating everything I made. I inherited from them a love of good design, curiosity about methods of fabrication and the properties of materials, and respect for the (often invisible) labor required to produce our built environment and the innumerable objects with which we engage every day.
