I want to thank you for the beautiful bow!!! It is lightweight, well crafted, and incredibly brilliant in the sun; a quality bow. The deer hide grip is beautiful, making the bow easy to grip, comfortable to hold. I can't wait to shoot it. Love it! The bow arrived promptly and was packaged well. Thank you!!!

I am so happy with the beautifully crafted, one of a kind, handmade, sharp knife I ordered from Steve. He was a pleasure to order from. Will be ordering more from him!

About

The alchemy of turning a stick into a powerful bow

Steve grew up in the jungles of Papua New Guinea, where he observed primitive skills first hand. He remembers watching in amazement a friction fire speed contest at a Sing Sing festival...or watching a young boy take a bird in flight with a home made slingshot! He never lost his fascination with these skills and knowledge that allow people to live close to the earth. Steve feels passionate about simplifying life and connecting with the earth and each other in a meaningful way. He loves making and shooting traditional bows. Steve homesteads on five acres in the Upper Skagit with his wife and three children whom they homeschool. He has been practicing and teaching wilderness skills to children and adults in the wild and especially enjoyed teaching a monthly wilderness skills class to homeschooled children. There is nothing that makes him happier than seeing kids stalking through the woods with mud on their faces.
