Mountain Wanderin' Hillbilly Makes Good in the Art World ;-)

I was fortunate to grow up roaming the mountains of Appalachia which fostered an abiding love of Nature and animals. I became obsessed with the wild things that surround us and started to paint them. Decades later, I'm still doing it. I love to connect what the eye sees to what the heart feels using the language of color to speak their special stories.

My specialty is painting animals and I'm always happy to paint custom pet portraits. There is something so wonderful about celebrating our fur babies with paint. I've started to paint exotic pets like fish, birds, reptiles and even spiders.
