Nuestro taller nació de la pasión por la construcción y el amor por las herramientas eléctricas. Cuando no podíamos encontrar el producto adecuado que buscábamos, queríamos algo único y peculiar (como nosotros) o simplemente no queríamos conformarnos con una pieza de aglomerado... bueno... ya sabes, lo construíamos. Y a menudo escribíamos sobre ello en nuestro otro blog en Internet, Angie's Roost (www.angiesroost.com).
Después de publicar en el blog un tutorial infame sobre cómo construir un soporte para iPad en enero de 2013, nos inundaron los correos electrónicos de personas que querían comprar nuestro soporte. Después de un par de meses, nos animamos, abrimos Roostic con un montón de fotos mal tomadas (desde entonces hemos mejorado) y no nos arrepentimos. Ha sido una de las aventuras más emocionantes que hemos abordado como dúo hasta ahora.
Cuando no nos estamos lijando los dedos hasta los huesos construyendo creaciones de madera para nuestro taller, disfrutamos de dejar atrás los años 70 en nuestra antigua casa, escribir en el blog sobre nuestras desventuras en el bricolaje y controlar a nuestro enérgico perro Goose. Ah... y dar largos paseos por la playa. ¿Qué lista de actividades favoritas estaría completa sin los largos paseos por la playa?

Our shop spawned from a passion to build and a love for power tools. When we couldn't find just the right product we were looking for, wanted something unique and quirky (kind of like us), or just didn't want to settle for a particle board piece of....well...you know, we built it. And often blogged about it at our other home on the inter web, our blog Angie's Roost (http://www.angiesroost.com).
After posting on the blog an infamous tutorial for how to build an iPad stand back in January 2013, we were inundated with emails from people wanting to buy our stand. After a couple of months, we bit the bullet, opened up Roostic with a bunch of poorly shot photos (we've since upgraded) and haven't looked back. It's been one of the most exciting adventures we've tackled as a duo yet.
When we're not sanding our fingers to the bone building wood creations for our shop, we enjoy kicking the 70s out of our old home, blogging about our misadventures in DIY, and wrangling our over energetic pooch Goose. Oh...and long walks on the beach. What list of favorite activities would be complete without long walks on the beach?!
