Close-ups of wee creatures are so peaceful to look at. I'll be corresponding with hospice patients in a new volunteer job, and the serenity of this photo spoke to me. I hope the recipient finds as much zen in it as I do. RubyClover has a great eye for composition and has the best greeting cards I've found online.

I live a generally artsy life with my talented husband, whether we're making music, renovating bits of our 100 year old house, creating elaborate outdoor art for our ever-growing garden... we're eternally in the midst of some sort of creative project.

The majority of the photography available in my shop is from my biennial trips to Europe. I often add interesting textured layers for a dreamy time-worn feel... this style mimics the way I approach my paintings as well. I also incorporate my photographs into fine handcrafted items, such as my popular "heirloom" boxes, mixed media wall art, decoupaged ornaments and unique jewelry.
