About

Adding a little spot of joy & color & beauty to your world

I create personalized wedding keepsakes & gifts, adorable figurines of people & pets, colorful, lightweight jewelry, and stationery accessories using the techniques of paper quilling. Custom orders are most welcome :-)

Although paper quilling has been around for centuries, my interpretation of it is unique and of the highest quality: I’ve translated what is a fairly traditional form into a modern and fun style.

The process is slow and close: for figurines, each paper strip is rolled into a tight, solid “coin,” then—almost as if I were working with clay—I manipulate and carefully sculpt those solid rolls, and detail the final form. The jewelry pieces I make follow a similar process and are sealed for durability and water resistance when complete.

Since first encountering the paper quilling technique more than a decade ago, I have developed expertise through years of practice and have refined my technique to create pieces of the highest quality and strictest standards. My original patterns have been published in two books; one of my paper pendants has been featured in the book "Altered Paper Jewelry: Artful Adornments from Beautiful Papers"; and I helped to develop an official accreditation program for the North American Quilling Guild.

Please contact me if you have questions or just want to say hello! I'd love to hear from you.

ALL READY MADE ITEMS..........................................

--RETURNS:
NOTE: The customer is responsible for all return shipping charges. Item must be received in the same condition and packaging as it left my hands originally. Once I receive the item back, I will issue a refund on your purchase price. Returns will not be processed until I have received the item. Please send a Conversation within 14 days of delivery to start return arrangements.

--EXCHANGES: Exchanges get a bit complicated due to the small amount of stock I have and the amount of one-of-a-kind items in my shop, so instead I will help process a return for a refund (see above RETURNS information). SHIPPING WITHIN THE U.S.
Orders will be shipped to the address you have on file with Etsy. Please make sure this is correct. CUSTOM ORDERS & ADDITIONS
I am happy to do new custom orders and add "props" to ready-to-ship dolls, just let me know what you have in mind and we can work out details together. Minor changes to existing designs or small additions won't generally require any additional costs. However, an additional charge might be required for major changes or a totally new design. Just send me a convo with your ideas, and I will let you know the cost for your custom order.

Additional time may be required to complete a custom addition to an item that was ready-to-ship. Contact me with any questions and I will always let you know what the new timeframe will be. Thank you!

Frequently asked questions
Is your paper art jewelry waterproof? Can I wear it in the shower or while swimming?

No. My paper art jewelry has multiple layers of sealer for water resistance and will be fine for daily wear, but it must be removed before bathing or swimming.

How should I best store or display my new paper art pieces?

All pieces should be kept out of direct sunlight and away from pets and children.

Wedding figurines look amazing kept displayed under a glass dome, which will also prevent any dust, however can also be simply displayed on a shelf or mantle, and given an occasional careful dusting: I recommend simply blowing on them periodically.

Figurines made to be removable from their base would be best displayed in their base and given an occasional, careful dusting: I recommend simply blowing on them periodically.

Ornaments all include a box for storage, and I do recommend using the box to keep them protected out-of-season.

Oh no! It fell and the head broke off/my cat ate it/my kid destroyed it! What do I do?!

Definitely get in touch! Repairs are sometimes possible, but it depends on the level of damage. A fall resulting in a head or arm popping off can likely be repaired. If your cat swiped your fairy off your desk and chewed it up, that fairy might be a goner. Reach out and I can either tell you how to repair the piece yourself, or you can ship it to me and I can work on the repair for a small fee. If the damage is beyond repair, perhaps you’d like to order a new piece based on the original. Reach out and I’ll be happy to talk through some options.
