Born in New Jersey, now living in Montana. Photographs and musings, from here to there and everything in between.
I’d like to tell you that I have a masters in photography and went through numerous years of training to get where I'm at today, but that would be a lie. What got me here was simply life!
In 2011 at the age of 31 I bought my first digital camera, and that would be my entry point into photography. Something just clicked internally for me, and as the years went by I kept receiving numerous compliments about the photographs I had been taking.
I shot and I shot and I shot, slowly learning and creating photographs that sometimes go against the norm of what is/isn't recommended.
During the summer of 2022, I finally built up enough self confidence to start presenting my work to the public. The response has been overwhelming to the say the least.
My current portfolio includes images from the surrounding Big Sky, Montana area, as well as my travels throughout the years. I lean towards more of a rustic approach to my work, rather than the large & beautiful metal prints that many photographers seem to use these days. Affixed to the back of my pieces is a type-written note, summarizing my thoughts and musings on the photograph captured. I'd like to say my work is a combination of rustic Americana, and the picturesque beauty of the landscapes that surround us all. I'm always surprised at what people buy! Sometimes a photograph triggers a memory from a family vacation, or speaks to the individual from a deeper level. Some have called my work unique and different. The fact people are buying my stuff and hanging it on their walls still blows my mind. I'm just an ordinary boy on a self healing journey continuing to find my way through this crazy jungle we all call life. Living proof that it's never too late, to start over again.
