Daydreams are the journey
I began this shop making wreaths, then I added vintage clothing and painted shoes. I began to live in different places, so I switched to paper ads so that I could bring my inventory with me wherever I went. I am presently working on putting up photography from my travels, which will take a bit more time than I have to spare. But I will get there. And, one day when I settle down, I will add things that do not travel well, but are beautiful to stay in one place with.
Here's a little insight into who I am:
Wanda began her life noticing the awe-inspiring little details found everywhere in her natural surroundings. She had a talent in painting and had a painting of a rainbow with zoo animals hung in a museum at age 7. Wanting to see how things worked developed into luxurious hours of playing alone, creating dols, doll clothes, and pretend furniture from found materials.. Her artistic talents were further developed through studio and sewing classes during her teen years, and she finally ended up with a Fine Arts Degree in her twenties. Add cooking, baking, writing, and studying nutrition to her spare time, and you have one happy, busy human raising four kids and loving every minute of it. A serious couture seamstress, Wanda observed how it is that sewing is in actuality a lot of engineering intelligence put into manipulating textiles by hand, yet without abstractness and the high salary of the professionals--thereby punctuating a lifelong interest in the movement for women's equality! Wanda strongly believes in promoting daydreaming to the art of living, she's done it all her life, conjuring creative ideas and setting goals from the act of staring out the window and letting her imaginiaton run and flitter on the wild musical waves of the mind. How wonderful the world becomes...when you daydream.
