Blue Bird Shop | Beginnings
It all started when my granny made me a blanket when I went to college. She crocheted this BEAUTIFUL purple and gold blanket with my school's initials at the top. I was absolutely amazed by her skills. I asked her to teach me how to crochet and the rest is history.
Crocheting is my release, my quiet time, and happily, one of my jobs ! I absolutely love creating things - photos, scarves, little DIY projects, headbands - and being able to share my creations with others in an added bonus !
I wanted to open up my own etsy shop because I wanted to put myself, and my work, out there. I am a "go - getter." Ambition, creativity and drive are my bread and butter (and i guess . . . tea. . .). As fas as the name of the shop: I have always had this obsession with birds and feathers. I think they are such beautiful, free, and inspirational creatures. I have a feather with me wherever I go, to remind myself that I can push myself further and soar higher.
