With a consistent and unique style, all items outshine those knock-off, counterfeits and imitations in the market. Songyan gets inspirations from the elements like, adventure, myth, iron and power, and works on characters and topics, such as soldiers, military, death, animal and mythology. He uses a bunch of techniques in precious metal jewelry making, including lost wax casting, oxidizing, old finish, polishing, etc. Each piece is detail-oriented and of high quality.
The materials include a variety of metals, such as 925 sterling silver, brass, white brass, copper. Songyan also plans to introduce items made of more precious materials, such as gold and gems in the near future. Therefore, there will be more high-end items worth being collected soon.
Songyan Han, the founder, used to an oil painting artist and specialist artist in a world-class video game company. He participated in the development of video games, such as Need for Speed, FIFA, NBA, EVEonline, to name just a few. In 2013, he established Songyan Jewelry Studio and launched two brands, Songyan Jewelry and ShadowEDC, trying to break the borders of arts. His works transform realism into a uniquely expressive form, while telling Songyan’s inner vision. As an innovator, he never satisfies with certain techniques, but integrates traditional techniques with new technologies, which opens up many possibilities for jewelry design and making in Songyan Jewelry Studio.
