The origin of Shadowscene extends back to 2002...as an artist moniker for Ellei J, and was utilized to showcase documentary photo work while embarking on numerous worldwide photo tours for over a decade. Along those tours and during those years, a mass amount of vintage clothing, pop culture classics and even self made t-shirts and revamped fashion fell under the creative umbrella and into the headquarters, then based in Los Angeles.

The Shadowscene Shop, now based in Philadelphia, features select prints from a myriad of journeys: nightlife, wildlife, abstract moments and landscapes. It also hosts a series of revamped and treasured vintage items from around the world.
