I am so pleased! The bag is gorgeous. It's a little darker than pictured (which I prefer) and has a bluish tint. It's a great size too, roomy but not huge. My only recommendation would be to have a vegan option with a non-leather strap. The bag arrived extremely quick and I felt like I was opening a gift from a friend- the presentation was so thoughtful. Thanks Jenny! :)

About Us

Field Study is a family business run by a husband and wife team, Tyson and Jenny.

Jenny:
"I began sewing in college. It started out as just a creative outlet. I had a few people request the small pouches I was making, so I decided to try selling on Etsy. I opened up a shop and it quickly turned into a self-sustained hobby.

I wanted it to be more, though. I envisioned a business that would not only support my ever-growing fabric hoard, but also my family. I knew I had to expand my product line to include more than just small pouches. I began experimenting and sewing bags that I would use myself: tote bags, crossbody bags, and more (still including the small pouches). In 2013, I changed my business name and opened a brand new Etsy shop, one that reflected my new "grown-up" venture.

The BIG dream is to eventually make all of our bags with hand-printed textiles. Tyson has taken on this daunting task and we are slowly-but-surely working toward this lofty goal."
