I am a self-taught artist. No AI here! Just me and my paint brush, painting what brings me joy. I hope my paintings bring you joy as well. :)
Many years ago after making a mess with one of those squeeze bottles of fabric paint, I picked up a paint brush to spread the paint, and discovered the joys of painting. I was so intrigued by what a paint brush and paint could do, and how much fun it is! I love the process of taking an idea or an image from my imagination and making it come to life, layer by layer of paint.
My eye is drawn to bold reds and oranges, but I appreciate the subtlety of white and grays especially when working with graphite. My art expresses the beauty of the world around us. Acrylic paints make the vast range of colors available to me to express that beauty. Graphite allow me to explore beauty with the simplicity of black and white.
I am currently focused on acrylic painting on fine art canvases and graphite drawings on art papers.
