Simple Design Bows. Those three little words perfectly describe me and my business.
I love to design, create, and sell! I've been doing all three since I was a little girl!
After a few years of working in a ribbon store, I was taught how to make some basic bows. I learned a few more styles and my Flower Loop Bows became my signature creation! They were so fun, and I just kept making them. All of a sudden I had a million bows and no clue what to do with them all. After giving many away, my husband suggested I start an Etsy shop. My biggest fear was, "what if I don't sell anything". Now, I just have to laugh at that thought!
All items in my shop are made by me. I'm inspired by the life around me. I see a color combo, and am scrambling for a piece of paper to jot an idea down. I love patterns, texture, and color! If only there were enough hours in the day to create all the ideas I have in my head!
I am a very meticulous person. Everything I do has to be done just right. I pay great attention to detail and am all about quality. With my bow creations, if I wouldn't put it on my own kids, I won't sell it to you!
When I'm not working on bows, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, card making, photography, sewing, cooking, and working on other crafty projects.
I am so blessed to be doing what I love - Creating! I was able to quit my full time job last year and become a stay at home mom when my son was born. I love having my own business and being able to work around my family's needs. It's such a happy lifestyle. Who knew when I started selling something I made as a hobby, it would eventually support my family so my husband could go back to school.
