Functional Ski Art for the Home

Lynnwood, Washington 573 Sales On Etsy since 2015

5 out of 5 stars (78)

Announcement   Welcome to my ski art shop! Here you'll find a variety of functional ski art for the home (coat racks, bottle openers, bookends, etc.) created from rescued skis/ski poles/snowboards. I hand-craft every item in my shop near Seattle, so you can be certain that you have a unique art piece.

Be sure to look around and peruse all the photos from each item's gallery. I make sure that every art piece I sell has a photo so that you know exactly what you are purchasing.

Custom-orders are the same price as regular items, so if you have a particular color/brand of ski, let me know - I can mock up an example and send photos before you place your order.

Check back often because I'm always adding more versions of existing art pieces and creating new art as well. (I update the photos for each listing to to show new models as they become available.)

Meanwhile, if you are looking for a good adirondack chair made from old skis, check out Cascade Ski Furniture https://www.etsy.com/shop/CascadeSkiFurniture

If you'd like to recycle your ski equipment, please contact me (brian@geppert.us) and I can arrange to find a new use for your planks & poles.

I'm very excited about these vintage Head 360s as bookends! Recall that Head made the first metal skis in the 1950s. This is the next model from the 1960s. Check out the toe bindings.

  • Time to outfit the birdies with recycled ski gear. This is a classic Lange boot converted to a birdie condo. Finally, affordable slope side housing but only for the birds.

First version of the ski tip bathroom cup and toothbrush holder. This Dynastar tip has such a cool emblem and logo placement that was perfect for this project piece.

I learned to ski when I turned 40 - a late bloomer. It became my favorite hobby - one I'd like to enjoy year-round. So if I can't be skiing, the next best thing is to be making functional art with skis.
