Living my dream, one quilt at a time!

Since I was a little girl, I have always loved to sew. My mother and grandmother, who lived next door to us, were both avid sewers so I naturally followed suit. As my children grew older and left home my love of sewing and vintage textiles naturally merged,resulting in the creation of Small Fries Design. I love the thrill of the hunt, poking around obscure antique shops in forgotten farm towns, finding a perfect chenille spread or stash of vintage quilting cotton. When I return home with my precious finds, I love the process of combining the vintage with the new to create a truly unique piece. All of this bliss happens in a cozy little shed my husband built for me on our Washington state homestead.
