Snark Factory

Hi my name is Mallory, creator and owner of Snark Factory, and I'm a graphic designer and artist living in San Antonio, TX. I started here on Etsy selling prints of my oil pastel artworks and, by chance, got ahold of some stud earrings jewelry supplies. I created about a dozen pairs of earrings featuring various paintings of mine and was immediately hooked. While I love painting and drawing, graphic design is my passion, which is evident in my current jewelry designs. I incorporate things I love, quotes that inspire me, jokes that humor me, and color combinations that interest me. My style is constantly evolving and I completely welcome any customer who is interested in creating their own custom jewelry. Presently, i'm working on expanding to clothing and incorporating other mediums and methods for making jewelry.

I specialize in handmade stud earrings, necklaces, and rings with tons of snark and sarcasm! Each piece of jewelry is made individually, and the images are sealed using epoxy resin. Epoxy resin is a great material for jewelry because once dried, it 100% protects the jewelry from discolorations, chips, scratches, and fading.

Because my jewelry not machine-made, reasonable variations are to be expected and contribute to the uniqueness and hand finished quality of each piece.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
If your item arrives damaged, contact me and I will send you a replacement right away. In certain cases, I may request pictorial evidence. Replacements will be sent out immediately.

Returns are accepted.
If you would like to return an item because it is damaged, refunds will be issued as soon as the item arrives back to me. You will be reimbursed for the cost of the item, initial shipping, and the shipping you paid to get it back to me.
If you would like to return for any other reason, refunds will be given upon arrival however the amount for shipping to and from will not be reimbursed. Items must be returned in their original condition in order to qualify for a refund.
Refunds will only be given if the item(s) are returned to me.

In the event you are unhappy with a commissioned or custom made item(s) please contact me so I can work out a solution with you. Custom orders will not be refunded.
Payments can be made through Etsy Direct Checkout or Paypal. I never have access to your personal or financial information, outside of your shipping address and your email address. I do not ever see your credit card number or billing address, and I am unable to charge your card after you place a sale.

If you would like to cancel your order, please let me know within 72 hours, though, 24 hours is preferred. Please understand that cancellations for custom items are handled on a case by case basis. If your custom item has already been made, the order can not be cancelled. If the item has already been shipped, you have the right to refuse the package as long as it remains intact and unopened. For returned or refused packages, refund will be given once the item is received.
All domestic and international orders ship out first class postage. Standard transit time for US orders is normally 3 business days, but do allow for extra time during the holidays.

All orders will be shipped with tracking.
Any customs fees and/or VAT fees are the customer's responsibility.
Shipping upgrades are available upon request. Contact me for a quote.
Additional policies and FAQs
USA HOLIDAY SHOPPERS: In order to guarantee delivery on/before 12/24, your order must be placed by 12/18/2016 by 11:59PM. Custom orders must be placed by 12/16 by 11:59PM. All orders placed after these dates will not ship until 12/28.
(cut off dates for 12/24 delivery)
Canada, Europe, Australia: 12/9 for standard shipping, 12/12 for priority (excluding Australia), 12/16 for priority express.
Everywhere else: All orders must be placed by 12/2 by 11:59PM for delivery on/before 12/24. If after 12/2, packages must be upgraded to express postage. Please contact me. Express postage for international packages starts at $51.

If you are interested in placing a custom order between 12/1-12/16, please contact me before purchase. Generally, custom orders do not require much additional time and I'm happy to design something for you. However, overly complex or large custom orders may require additional processing time that could interfere with holiday delivery.

Gift wrap is available upon request. Gift wrap consists of holiday wrapping paper and/or cards with your message. Gift boxes are not and will not be available.
