I lived for a short time in France and have seen first-hand why the French have always managed to make do, but always with such style! Functionality is important, but a thing has to have beauty too. That idea, along with a love of the French chic-yet-casual style, was the basis for the kind of items I wanted to sell on Etsy. So, plain jane muslin is torn, dyed and crinkled into lovely, soft ribbons that can be used again and again. The same humble cotton muslin is used to create ethereal ribbon curtains, soft-hued fabric flowers, pillows, garlands, curtain tie backs and more. Tiny glass seed beads become delicate French-beaded confections, vintage laces and glassware showcase the quality and care of bygone days.
