Thank you for visiting my shop and supporting my Quilts for Cats donation campaign. I recently lost a kitty, a long time friend and companion. As I struggle through my grief, I feel the need to fill the hole he left by helping other kitties in need.

100% of the proceeds from the sale of my quilts will be donated to Feline Rescue, Inc., a Minnesota based no-kill cat rescue organization. They are volunteer based and funded exclusively through donations and grants. http://felinerescue.org

As an incentive, I'm offering my quilts for sale at cost: I'm donating my time and only charging for materials. This means you get a great deal on a quilt and in exchange, these cats get a safe home, medical care and lots of hugs while waiting for their forever home.

Materials are calculated based on the following rates:
Quilting fabrics: $.007/square inch ($10/yd)
Batting: $.002/square inch ($5.75/yd)
Binding fabric: $.018/inch ($10/yd)
Thread/packaging/fees (paypal/etsy)/shipping to US and Canada: $15 - $25.00

I use only 100% cotton, high quality designer quilting fabrics. Some of these fabrics are out of print and hard to find. I use Warm and White batting (low loft 100% cotton) and Aurifil cotton thread throughout. Each quilt is machine quilted by me and bindings are machine stitched for durability.

All quilts are created in a non-smoking, cat-friendly home and have been washed, packaged and are ready to ship.
