I really enjoyed these beans! They're roasted very well -- medium-dark to dark roast with no smokiness introduced from roasting. There's a surprising sweetness up front and a light chocolatey flavor that lasts a while. Nice silky texture. For what it's worth, my mother really enjoyed these beans, too!
