These stitch markers are so beautiful and useful, and, when I asked that they (and the garnet set as well) be made 10mm size - that's how they arrived! Now, I am using them to make a triangular shawl, and I enjoy each time I have to move them from one needle to another!
Hand Made for You!
It's the cat's fault. Really.
Once upon a time, a long haired kitten captured my heart. While combing the shaggy little guy's fur I absentmindedly twisted a bit of soft fluff between my fingers and tugged lightly on it. Cool. Cat "yarn". I wondered... could I learn to spin to make more? That moment marked my entry into the warm, creative and wonderfully obsessive world of fiber and its tools.
Spindle Cat Studio has progressed from making hand painted spindles to hand spun and hand dyed yarn. Dyeing led to the creation of Spindle Cat Studio's Signature Tabby series superwash yarn where a skein of yarn looks like a calico cat. I've taken a break from dyeing for a bit and have concentrated on creating stitch markers as well as some handy tools. Lately I seem to be coming up with new designs for shawl pins and hair sticks.
Check back, because this story is a work in progress...

Lead SpindleCat And Shop Muse
When not supervising shop activities or attacking tissue paper Chegie likes overripe blueberries, cashews and sleeping with one foot up in the air. It was his long soft kitten fur that launched S.Kate's interest in learning to spin wool into yarn.
Morale Officer/Production Assistant
Snowshoe Siamese. Has zero interest in wool or beads but will pester S.Kate endlessly to play fetch with a bread twisty-tie. Newly promoted to Production Assistant. He's a slacker.
