As my yarns are made of natural animal fibers, they should be washed gently with a wool wash in cool water, avoiding agitation, and laid flat to dry. I recommend using your favorite hair conditioner when blocking as it will really help bring out the softness in the yarn. Also, anything with sari silk should be washed in cool water, ideally with a color catcher, as sari silk frequently bleeds (I have no control over this as I use already dyed, recycyled sari silk). All items are shipped via USPS ground advantage mail with tracking and insurance within the US. If you purchase two or more items, I refund any overage in shipping costs. If you would like to upgrade to Priority, that is an option (express shipping) when selecting shipping. I ship every day but Sunday, and will try to get orders out within 24 hours of confirmed payment. I can only ship within the US at this time.

There will always be variation with wools and handspun yarn, even from skein to skein within a particular colorway or from an individual sheep. Thickness and color, ply twist, and fiber distribution in blends can vary, but I strive to provide accurate descriptions and photos. When listing a yarn weight (i.e. worsted, bulky, etc.), that is an approximate average thickness, but there may be sections that are thinner or thicker. Please also be aware that colors can be represented differently from monitor to monitor, so while I try to capture colors in photos and describe them properly, they may vary slightly in real life. My yarns are made in a smoke free, scent free, pet friendly studio. All finished yarns are washed and stored away from pets. I never use or add scents to my fibers or yarns, as many people (myself included) are sensitive to them.
