I am a woman, let's just say Gen X, who loves to cross stitch!
I live in a small college town in Ohio with a bar on every corner, but no local cross stitch shops, so I started designing my own patterns using graph paper and colored pencils.
My little company, "The Stitcherhood", becoming a LLC in 2007. Since then I have had my cross stitch designs featured in 18 issues of "Just CrossStitch" magazine's Christmas and Halloween issues and in one book called "A cross stitch Christmas".
I addition to being a textile artist I am a mom of 2 daughters, the wife of a funky blues bass player (and owner of his own business "Eden Marketing"). I am on the board of a non-profit that raises money to help local folks (mainly kids) to participate in and experience the arts (my county if one of the poorest in the county with few music and arts programs left in schools). I am a bit of a hippy chick, a lover of books, cats, thunder storms, tacos and the beach!
My little company means everything to me and I hope that everyone that chooses to buy one of my designs is pleased with their purchase and has hours of fun creating!
