5 out of 5 starsPen is SO adorable! 🤩 She did an amazing job! She was also very easy to talk and discuss design ideas with. She was able to take the outfit design I had in mind and make it real! He’s so well made! 💛 His hair was a tad flat, but I slid a wee bit of foam near the sewn crown of hair to give him volume. Hence the difference in the photos.

All the details even down to his tail have so much character! I cannot recommend this store enough!! Thank you so much for your amazing work 💙🤍❤️🖤

5 out of 5 starsi had a BIG smile on my face as soon as i laid eyes on my two bunny phantoms <3 they're both so cute, well-designed, soft and a little bigger than i expected (which is in no way a complaint)!! kate kindly answered my questions even before i placed my order and showed me fabric samples when i asked to see some. my package arrived in a little over two months, but i completely understand that high quality handmade items like these take their time :) overall i'm super happy with my purchase and will definitely shop here again to have more of my blorbos bunnified 🥰

4 out of 5 starsI really love him!! My only real issue was the lack of communication after the initial point of contact/discussion. Otherwise, I would have absolutely specified other details that I thought were a must. (Lack of more wrinkles, blue suit jacket, based on SHOW House as opposed to game House.) Though, that is partially on me for not having a more 'up to date' reference sheet.

5 out of 5 starsThis is my second order with StitchyButton, and the experience was just as amazing as the first time. Stitchy’s craftsmanship and attention to detail is S-Tier. Phobos looks both adorable and intimidating; I didn’t even know that was possible, and the claws were an unexpected but very welcome surprise! Amazing work and top quality. Thank you!

Frequently asked questions
Do you send progress pictures?
While I wish I could document every unique doll in that way, I simply do not have the time to stop and take pictures of my process and send them out. It slows down productivity, and effectively adds labor. Check out my instagram if you’d like a peek behind the scenes, @stitchybutton
Do you make life sized dolls?
My workshop is pretty small! I don’t have the space to make something with those sorts of dimensions.
Can you make a doll with removable clothes?
My dolls are made to be permanently clothed. If you would like a dressable doll, we will have to discuss it up front.
The trouble with doing removable doll clothes is it adds considerable thickness and inflexibility, due to the small scale of the doll. It also adds to wear and tear on a hand made item, muscling those layers past each other. It’s not impossible, but I strongly advise against it on the Standard Size of doll.
I do not make NSFW dolls, and please don’t send me NSFW art as a reference.
What if I want a creature you don’t already make?
Start by sending me a picture, so I can wrap my head around the idea, and let you know about the possibilities. If a character has a design or shape to it that I don’t have a close existing pattern for, it will require prototyping. This means extra work and materials. To pay myself accordingly, the way I price items such an item is generally 175% of what it would be as an inventory item.
Can you make Ma Otter?
Sorry, but as the Emmet listing says, I won’t be making Ma Otters. At this point, I’ve made around 300 Emmets, and I have a limit to my enjoyment of the process. Ma is simply too complicated and expensive to source for me to have any desire to mass produce, especially on a matching scale.
What are your dolls made of?
They are made of fleece fabric! This is different from felt, as felt is sort of compressed together from fibers into a rigid sheet. Fleece is woven from a yarn, with lots of stretch. It’s soft and buttery in feel, and comes in more colors. I particularly like Joann’s “Blizzard” fleece.
What’s the difference between Basic and Dainty Style Dolls?
"Daintys" have more delicate features and realistic proportions, while "Basics" are more cartoony, with oversized heads and stout bodies. I might advise the Dainty Style if it’s likely to be kept on a shelf as part of a fanart collection, or in an office. For a more tactile dimension that wouldn’t get lost in couch or bed pillows- the Basic Style is much meatier!
Do you do bulk orders?
It depends on the item! If you’re seeking 10+ bunnies or dolls that are all identical, it’s possible I can do a bulk rate. If the hypothetical 10 dolls are all different designs, probably not.
If you’re looking for a completely custom plush in the range of 20+ to 150 pieces, we may be able to work together, but you should be aware the entire order/prototyping/fulfillment process will likely take two months, three if the order is really large and complex.
Exceeding 100 pieces, it’s unlikely we can work together at all. Exceptions: pillows, ornaments, bunny bon bons… very simple designs that are made up of 5 pieces of fabric, max.
Logistics for bulk orders exceeding 20 will require a $30 deposit, that will be deducted from final balance.
