Welcome to StoneHouse Artifacts, Antiques from India and SE Asia. We travel far and wide to find beautiful treasures for you. Through our journeys we are able to offer a fine collection of antiques, artifacts and architectural furnishings. Many of these pieces are one of a kind items that are hand crafted from old growth woods in India and Burma. Stop by often, and please feel free to contact us with questions. We are here to help.

Our business combines our love for travel, history and meeting new people. Each year finds us in India and Asia seeking out collectibles and the unusual for our shop, every trip with its own adventures and stories. From missing trains and flights to lazy journeys in crowded boats up rivers to markets in towns with exotic far off names (my favorite). Throughout history travelers and merchants have been seeking out the East to bring back treasures to their own lands, and now we have found our place in this long tradition of trading with the world.

The pieces we sell all have a past history and though mostly unknown to us, still show the years of having been part of people’s lives adding that charm which new pieces can never have.

Hello and Welcome to StoneHouse Artifacts, specializing in authentic Furniture and Antiques from India. It's a journey that we started thirteen years ago while sourcing building materials and antiques for our own home. Kurt was in the middle of designing StoneHouse during our first visit to India. On day two he spied a gorgeous set of Rosewood Pillars that we couldn't leave behind. Not to mention the stone flooring, the granite fireplace, rosewood doors, and you get the picture. After three container shipments we felt we had a handle on getting items to the U.S. We opened StoneHouse Artifacts nine years ago and have never looked back. We are travellers at heart, and finding items for you is one of our favorite parts of this business. Authenticity, beauty, and fine form are what we love. Working with Etsy and Keeping Commerce Human : )

Damage Policy

Fedex Shipments - You will receive shipping confirmation and a tracking number via email. Signatures may be required on delivery of your package. You may track your package online. In case of damage, you must save packaging, take photos to document, and notify us immediately.

Freight Shipments -Please include your contact tel. with your order. The freight company will call to set up a delivery appointment with you. All deliveries are curbside, a ‘lift gate’ truck is provided for very heavy items. You will be responsible for bringing your purchase from curbside into your home. If the crating/packing appears to be damaged, the driver must notified at time of delivery. Please unpack the item before the driver leaves.

Further Shipping Policies - Please Read

Free Shipping in Lower 48 States ONLY. Rates for HI or AK contact us.
Smaller items sent by USPS and Fedex are insured. If damage is noted please save all material and take pictures for your claim. Damage claims are the responsibility of the buyer. Claims may be filed with 3-14 days after receipt of your item. Signatures required on all Fedex deliveries.
Freight shipping - please include your telephone number - important!
Items are delivered curbside. They are palleted and crated and you will need to disassemble it with a screw gun. The freight company will call to set up an appointment for delivery. We send photos of the piece in the crate and instructions. White Glove service requires an extra fee and must be scheduled prior to shipping.

Return Policy

We do not accept returns of antique or vintage items.

All sales are final unless previously discussed in writing.
Notification of Return must be within five days.
There is a 25% restocking fee for cancelled or returned items.
Items must be returned to us within 30 days in same condition as purchased to receive a refund.

We do not accept cancellations of an order after it has shipped by freight, USPS, or Fedex.
