A Bit About Me...And Sublime stuFF™

I am Megan Donovan and I spend a good deal of my time on my small business in web development, graphic design, and photography editing services, while spending more and more time with my Etsy shops.

You know, my mother used to tell me that a well spent youth affords one the luxury of doing what they want to do and not what they have to do. Today, that is achieved through entrepreneurship. I have been self employed for 20 or more years now and I wouldn't ever look back. It's not the easy route but corporate America did not allow me to value what is truly important. I am so glad I got out before I became a part of that machine which could not be removed.

I had a revelation at this point that led to my new life philosophy...
Stop the glorification of busy
Glorify joy. Glorify contentment. Revel in something. Once you have truly done that, you'll likely never be interested in being "busy" again.

We should love what we do. I enjoy my business and the ability to venture into other areas I love a great deal. One of those areas is my love of vintage pieces. This will sound familiar to so many here, but I adore the stories vintage pieces have to tell. I marvel at the craftsmanship of fine vintage jewelry. As I find or acquire these pieces, I offer them here in our shop.

I am also very much involved in sustainable living, and a natural living environment. That led to the development of our eco-Instinct™ line and the Etsy store for that line is located at: www.ecoinstinct.etsy.com

►We accept payments via PayPal, all major credit cards, debit cards and Etsy gift Cards.

►We have been a verified PayPal Merchant since 2005.

►Via PayPal, you can use all major credit cards. You do not need to have a PayPal account to pay with PayPal.

►Payment is expected upon purchase.

►You may cancel your order within 12 hours of purchase. Items are often shipped within 24 hours so the window for cancellation has to be limited.

►We will, under certain conditions, accept payment via money order. Please contact us to discuss. If we are able to accept the payment via money order on the item you are interested in, the process would be as follows:
1. We would need to email an invoice to you for the purchase price and shipping.
2. We accept USPS money orders only.
3. The money order needs to be sent to us via USPS Priority Mail. (we delist the item as soon as you tell us the money order has been mailed so you can understand we need to expedite the process any way we can.)
4. If the money order is not received within 7 days of the date of mailing, we will have to re-list the item in the store.
5. As soon as the money order is cashed and funds are verified, we will ship the item per the chosen shipping method.
Shipping
We ship domestically to the US
We use USPS Priority Mail

With a few possible exceptions, we are now shipping every item via Priority Mail. We feel it's important to protect both buyer and seller with tracking information and delivery confirmations.

We do our best to offer discounted or free shipping when we can.

On any item sold for $500 or more, Sublime stuFF offers FREE Priority Mail shipping including insurance for the purchase amount. We provide this at our expense; at NO CHARGE to the customer.

Please contact us if you have another shipping request; we will do the best we can to accommodate our customers.

Items are shipped within 1-3 business days. We rarely experience delays in shipping but it's possible to have unexpected events that delay shipping. Should that happen, we will notify you.
Refunds and Exchanges
YES, we offer refunds and exchanges. Any request for a refund or exchange MUST be made within 10 days from the date of shipment. Refunds are processed 24 (business day) hours after item is received by us and condition is approved.

►Inadvertent Misrepresentation: We research our vintage pieces thoroughly. Although it's rare, it is possible that we have gotten incorrect information. If this inadvertent misrepresentation can be proven, the item can be returned and WE WILL issue a full refund. The item must be returned in the exact condition it was in when purchased. Once the item is received by us and the condition is approved, we will issue the refund.

►Damaged in Shipping: There will not be a case of our products being inadequately packaged. We take great care with this. It is, however, possible that a package be mistreated during shipping. Should an item be damaged in shipping, WE WILL issue a full refund including shipping. We don't want our customers to suffer any loss. In order to handle this responsibly, we MUST HAVE customers participate in solving the problem:
1. You must notify us of the damage immediately upon receipt of the merchandise. Any request for a refund must be received by us within 10 days from the date of shipment, so please don't delay in notifying us.
2. In order to recover the loss, we must file a claim on shipping insurance. We will need the customers cooperation in this. Depending on the circumstances, we will need very detailed photos of the damaged item AS WELL AS photos of the packaging, and we might need the item with packaging returned to us.
IMPORTANT: Should an item arrive to you damaged, DO NOT alter or discard any of the pieces OR the packaging. If the item is altered or discarded, a refund CANNOT be issued.

►Lost in Shipping: If an item is lost in shipping WE WILL issue a refund. An item is considered "lost" if not delivered within 30 days. YOU MUST notify me within 10 days from the date of shipment, that you have not received the package. Our deliveries are tracked so if a buyer says their purchase was lost or stolen in the mail, the tracking evidence MUST support that claim. If the tracking information confirms delivery, it will be the buyer's responsibility to follow up on that delivery.

►Exchanges: YES. If you would like to exchange your purchase for something else you have seen in our shop, we are happy to do that. You would need to return the original purchase (in the exact condition it was in when purchased) within 10 days from the date of shipment. As soon as we receive the item and verify condition, we will issue a shop credit and send out the item you want. If you are exchanging for an item at a lower price, you will have the remainder as a store credit. If you are exchanging for an item at a higher price, you will be responsible for the paying that difference before we send out the exchange item. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.

►Any request for a refund or exchange must be made within 10 days from the date of shipment. If a buyer claims to have sent a request and I have not received it, the buyer will need to provide proof that the request was sent.

►The buyer is responsible for providing Sublime stuFF with the correct shipping address. If an item is lost due to incorrect information from the buyer, Sublime stuFF CANNOT offer a refund or exchange until the item has been returned to us (which the USPS will do with an undeliverable package).

Sublime stuFF™ is dedicated to customer service. We are proud to say that to date we simply haven't had any problems or unhappy customers. We take great care with purchased items and our customers are very important to us.
