Seascape and Landscape Wall Art

Behind me a print of "Bodega Shorebreak" and in my hands, "Almost Home". Both giclee prints created at my studio in CA.
On the California coast, a place called Schoolhouse Beach.
One my favorite waves in Costa Rica is the long left at Pavones.

Tom Rissacher Realist painter, glass artist, longtime surfer and ocean enthusiast.

I've been painting for as long as I can remember. My focus for many years has been painting the ocean in it's many moods. This stems in part from a lifetime of surfing and diving all over the world. In 1990 I settled in Northern California after 15 years living on Hawaii, the Big Island. I also do quite a bit of landscape painting and have been doing stained glass since 1981. My original work is sold through a number of galleries.

A great addition to my studio was the purchase of a wide format printer which creates fantastic reproductions of my favorite paintings on paper or canvas. For those who find my original paintings a little too expensive, these prints are an affordable alternative and the image quality is remarkable. Having this capability was the impetus for starting my Etsy shop. I hope you will take a few moments to browse around and check out the work. Enjoy!
