My first experiences with sewing came at a very early age. Very often, my summer days were spent at my grandparents farm in rural North Carolina. My Grandmother, Lillian, loved to sew and was delighted when I began to express an interest in learning from her. Together we would get lost in our projects and it was during those hours that I fell in love with the art of sewing.
After graduating from college, I pursued a career in the business world and rarely had time to enjoy my creative pursuits. It was not until after the birth of my first son that I decided to bring out my old machine. For 15 years, I sewed custom home decorating projects. As my children grew up, my daughters encouraged me to start monograming for them and their friends. My daughters and I found a project that we could pursue together.
It is my hope, as a busy mom and Etsy shop owner, that I give every customer the best shopping experience possible. My efforts are to answer emails in a timely fashion and treat each shopper the way I would want to be treated.
