I can’t remember a time when I didn’t enjoy art. My mother recalls a memory of finding me by a pile of clay soil forming little animals. I was 2 years old.
I studied art in college and went on to be an art teacher. When my husband bought a printing shop I became the design department. With that and raising a family I didn’t have much time for my own art. When the kids were raised, I got back into painting and became very busy entering competitive shows and hauling paintings around for exhibits and supplying several galleries.
I finally needed to slow down and simplify so I could keep enjoying my art. That’s when I discovered Etsy. I hope to soon have all my work photographed and listed. Then the only place I will have to haul anything is to the Post Office!
