About

Color and $14

Sometime in 2010, I bought a pair of earrings with shepherd's hooks. Piece of cake, I thought, to change them to posts. Alas, I took the earrings to a local bead shop and paid $14--more than half the cost of the earrings--to have posts substituted for hooks. While there, I discovered racks and racks of colorful beads--and an introductory class to making jewelry. Just so I can modify earrings, I thought. But one class led to many others, as well as books and magazines--and more bead shops and bead shows than I ever knew existed.

With more jewelry than I could ever get around to gifting or wearing, I opened Teal Eve's on etsy in 2011. Take a look around the shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/TealEves?ref=si_shop. I hope you find something special for yourself or for someone you love.
