Yay! My beautiful Blackbird plate arrived this morning. I did stage the photo outside, so there is a shadow from a Russian Olive branch cast onto plate thanks to morning sunlight. ..it will safely be displayed in my adobe home going forward. I love every detail..the color of blue, & black glaze, & a touch of yellow on beak, the lettering/font of the iconic lyrics, the earthy brown glaze subtly hinting a delicate curtain floating in a window sill. ❤️ yes, beautiful art should invoke imagination. I love creative, hand crafted pieces for my collection..my Sacred Heart Angel has a beautiful face, her gowns seam on back is soft edge finished as though it was tailor stitched with a tiny flourished design on top. Her blue crown has a heart too. Thank you Teri for wrapping her in beautiful star tissue paper, & glitter string like a gift.
