5 out of 5 starsI expected this cord to come on a spool. I got the .08mm size. I had forgotten that i ordered it and thought it was a free gift because it was coiled up in a baggie. It looks really nice. I hope it's good and strong. I can probably get two necklaces out of what I bought. The order arrived very fast!

5 out of 5 starsI specifically bought these Howlite Beads because they were NOT referred to as Howlite Turquoise. Turquoise is NOT Howlite and Howlite is NOT Turquoise!!! It really makes me mad when I see it called Turquoise, just because it has veins in it that can make it look like Turquoise with dye. It confuses people and they think they're getting genuine Turquoise as if Howlite is the name of where it's found. So I commend The Bead Chest for it's Honesty. This is such a pet peeve of mine. When Howlite is dyed to resemble Turquoise it should be called Dyed Howlite!!! Rant over... The beads are of excellent quality. Nice and shiny black. I love them as bracelet charms! Especially with Black Obsidian, Tourmaline and Onyx beads. Very fun! People love them! Fast shipping!

What’s your company's story?
We work with developing communities throughout Africa to bring you some of the most beautiful, handmade beading treasures in the world. All items that we source direct are fair trade. Our unique business model enables us to support creative jewelry designers with quality beading supplies, while supporting developing communities at the same time.
Do you combine shipping?
Yes we do! Multiple item orders are combined automatically in the cart. We charge a flat rate shipping fee which means that no matter how much you order, your total shipping cost will not increase! That’s right! It’s a simple flat rate per order:
USA - $4.00 flat rate per order
Canada - $10 flat rate per order
International - $15 flat rate per order
We also offer FREE SHIPPING on USA orders $35 or more.
Limited exceptions apply to our flat-rate policy for non-USA orders with heavier items. Non-USA customers, please feel free to inquire in advance to verify exact shipping charges particularly for glass beads with a diameter of 18mm or larger.

Absolutely. Your satisfaction is our #1 priority! We accept returns for items in the same condition received up to 14 days from date of delivery. Please contact us first to authorize a return.
