I look for clothes that are remarkable in some way. It can be design, which I tend to keep understated and current. Or it can be quality. I am thrilled by high quality fabrics, especially wool and silk. Ideally, I find pieces with both. This is what I look for in my own clothes and what I look for when I buy for The brooding kind.

I've always thought wearing vintage clothes is exciting because they are things that have been found, found among other things that haven't been designed and made to specifically appeal to you. It gives each piece the opportunity to be completely itself, which I find liberating. I hope you do too.
