Announcement Shop update: 10-10-22 I had a great time at the Fairbanks Fiber Festival. Several new bags and yarn huggers designs new to the shop now. I’m also happy to search for designs on request.

Welcome to The Fireweed Studio!

My shop has grown from a blossoming love of all things knitting, to the constant search for more and more project bags. Now I spend as much time sewing project bags as I do knitting and I absolutely love it.

Each bag is lovingly handmade in my spare bedroom, ahem, I mean studio, here in beautiful Anchorage, Alaska. I pick out fabrics that I adore and sew the bags according to my current mood and color likings. My home is smoke-free.

My best selling product - the yarn huggers - are so fun and so handy! I won't knit without them now. They keep my yarn clean and tangle free and I can use them with or without a project bag.

I am constantly striving toward better photography to be able to show each item as accurately as possible. Some color variation is likely due to different monitor settings.
