Gift wrapping and packaging

All jewelry is safely packaged in a plastic sleeve or jewelry box with padding. Please note that all bridal jewelry and bridesmaid jewelry includes decorative organza bags and thank you tags. It is not necessary to purchase additional gift wrap for bridal or bridesmaid orders.

Want special gift wrap for an occasion?
Gift wrapping is an option that you may add to your order on the checkout page. Please note the occasion in the message to seller at checkout. Your order will be beautifully wrapped in decorative gift paper and tied with a ribbon.

Care instructions

Unless otherwise noted, all of the findings (ear wires, chains, etc.), framed gems, and charms in the jewelry is plated. Plated findings have a brass core with a thin layer of the metal color, the color that you see, on the outside. This means that it will tarnish (become a brown color; wear out) over time. Plated materials are used to keep prices lower, so jewelry is more affordable for you! In order to keep your jewelry from quickly tarnishing, store jewelry in a closed container, away from other jewelry. It's best to avoid extreme weather and moisture.

Incorrect Mailing Addresses

Please confirm that your shipping address is correct. The Gem Co. is not responsible for incorrect addresses listed on purchase orders. If you need to change your shipping address, please contact The Gem Co. within 24 hours of placing your order. Buyers are responsible for additional shipping costs of re-shipped orders. The Gem Co. is also not responsible for the re-shipping cost of orders returned by USPS as "undeliverable/returned to sender" or for any international orders returned by customs due to incorrect or incomplete information. If your order is returned to The Gem Co., you will be responsible for the re-shipment fee.

First Class Mail

All packages are shipped via First Class Mail unless a shipping upgrade is purchased at checkout. Please note that packages shipped via First Class Mail do NOT come with insurance. The Gem Co. will not replace items that are lost, stolen, or damaged upon delivery. The Gem Co. is not responsible for lost, stolen, or mis-delivered packages. We are also not responsible for packages that were shipped to the wrong address, if that was the address provided by the buyer upon checkout. It is the buyer's responsibility to file a claim with USPS if a package is mis-delivered, stolen, lost, or damaged.
